We are seeking a Azure cloud engineer (min 5 years of experience in the domain) to join our Engineering chapter team. You will play a critical role in deploying, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting cloud platforms and services in the Consumer Centricity product organization. The role involves hands-on infrastructure management, scripting, automation, incident management, and adherence to company policies and best practices. You are working within a cross-functional team to improve systems and processes and ensure uptime and efficiency.
Tasks
Cloud Deployment & Configuration: Provision and configure resources in public cloud platforms, following standardized deployment models.
Automation & Scripting: Create and maintain templates and automation workflows for repeatable tasks and process optimization.
Security & Compliance: Propose, implement and maintain cloud security measures, including firewalls, encryption, and identity management in line with company guidelines and market best practices.
Operational Maintenance: Regularly monitor, patch, and update cloud services, and workloads to ensure reliability and security and reduce technical debt.
Incident Management: Respond to and resolve operational incidents related to cloud infrastructure, performing root cause analysis and implementing preventive measures.
Documentation: Maintain service and operational documentation, updating as environments and processes evolve.
Collaboration & Support: Work closely with product owners, developers, and other IT profiles to manage infrastructure and support deployments. Mentor junior engineers and guide them through operational tasks and tooling.
Continuous Improvement: Propose enhancements based on operational experience and new technical capabilities, focusing on reliability, efficiency, and cost management.
Ideal Profile
Experience
Minimum of 5 years in cloud engineering with extensive experience in Microsoft Azure.
Certifications
AZ-104 – Azure Administrator Associate or higher
(Optional) AZ-700 - Azure Network engineer associate
(Optional) AZ-500 – Azure Security engineer associate
KCNA – Kubernetes and Cloud Native Associate
(Optional) CKA – Kubernetes Certified Administrator
Cloud concepts
Landing zone, Cloud adoption framework, regulatory frameworks (ISO, NIS2, …)
Azure
Advanced Azure networking knowledge (Vnets, NSG, Hub&spoke model, Azure firewall, Private endpoints, WAF, …)
Strong experience in Azure governance (Management groups, EntraID, PIM, Azure policies), cost management.
Knowledge of security principles and tools (Azure Defender)
Databases
Azure SQL, MongoDB.
IaC
Terraform HCL scripting for infrastructure deployment and maintenance.
CI/CD
Azure DevOps toolset (repositories, pipelines, …), ArgoCD.

Extensive experience with Kubernetes.
