Business Information Analyst

As a Business Information Analyst you will be at the forefront of the projects to digitalize. The initial focus is to renew and mobilization of the technology and systems.

Tasks and responsibilities

  • You will be a pillar of the center of competence with detailed knowledge of the people, functions and end-to-end processes as well as the various systems and tools used

  • Your challenge is to build bridges and work with functional and technical experts within vendors and IT in describing business requirements and implementing systems

  • You will drive the day-to-day sustain activities of the running systems and solution

  • You have sufficient understanding of aviation to be able to co-ordinate and champion change recognizing the regulatory background and inherent complexity

  • You will prepare and support each development stage through Analysis, Design, Testing and Implementation where you:

  • Organize workshops, interviews and visits to gather these business requirements, processes and data

  • Can articulate and write unambiguously about requirements, processes and data

  • Analyze and prioritize these requirements to come to a Global standard that can be used

  • Are able to prepare test scenarios & cases as well as the data needed for test execution

  • Execute tests and co-ordinate with end-users and IT colleagues

  • Support end-user training and implementation co-ordination across business and IT

  • You define and support integration projects between operational systems

  • Together with your colleagues, you will drive on time and quality go-live of new digital solutions.

Ideal Profile

  • You are in the possession of a Master degree or have equivalent industry experience; a background in engineering/maintenance, transportation and/or computer science is a must.

  • A minimum of 10 years’ experience in aviation maintenance and IT systems

  • Knowledge of maintenance systems (e.g., TRAX, AMOS), preferably as an Administrator or project implementation lead

  • You are a problem solver, someone that thinks logically about systems and processes and brings together accurate cogent explanations/solutions.

  • You have co-ordination skills which involves the ability to listen and act with limited oversight to bring the correct involved parties into play at the right time.

  • Having experience in the Business Requirements Management (BRM) techniques of gathering, analyzes, modelling and review is an advantage

  • Proficiency in PC skills and IT aptitude, including working knowledge of Office365

  • You have preferably experience with collaborative tools such as Teams, JIRA, Confluence

  • Having experience with test management tools such as QTest and service management tools, such as Service Now is an advantage

  • Knowledge about project management methodologies such as PRINCE2, PMI is also an advantage

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present and argue in a structured and concise manner at all organizational levels

  • You are able to communicate fluently in English (spoken and written) in a clear and concise manner.
