Tasks
Security expert role:
Support the company’s subsidiaries in clarifying security requirements in a hands-on and pragmatic manner; build awareness on how much risk an organization has around cybersecurity;
Meet regularly to review status of remediation actions, identify issues, work toward resolution, and maintain agreed timelines;
Install a Cyber Steering/Governance at the company’s subsidiaries (incl. overseeing critical security functions); communicate with the board, executive management and external stakeholders.
Cyber Culture:
Support in the roll-out the Group awareness and training plan io. to help colleagues understand and abide by established security practices; also, to recognize and react responsibly toward cyber threats;
Create and organize custom trainings to accommodate the company’s specific and/or urgent needs (eg. High Privileged Users and Board training);
Help with providing answers to technical questions / matters – residing from inside or outside the organization – related to cybersecurity.
Ideal Profile
Education: Master
Certification: Relevant professional certifications (e.g. CISSP, CISA, CRISC) needed and familiarity with project management and change management frameworks are considered a plus (e.g. Prince2, ITIL, ADKAR)
Language: Dutch, French and English Fluent
Professional experience in a variety of security security domains such as GRC, security architecture, (5+ years)

Solid analytical skills; ability to break-down complex issues into their key components; strong deductive reasoning; ability to draw conclusions from a combination of evidence and assumptions.
Preferable
Familiar with financial services industry
Technical Experience
Mandatory
Technical expertise in a variety of security domains such as vulnerability mgmt. and SIEM.
