We are seeking a highly skilled Data Reporting and Visualization Expert. In this role, you will support the design, development, and maintenance of a comprehensive HR dashboarding tool in Power BI, empowering internal clients to access key HR information at a glance. You will work at the intersection of data analytics, visualization, and HR core systems.

Description                

Data warehousing assessment, (re)design and maintenance:

  • Assess and optimize existing and future data warehousing capabilities (SAP BW, SAP BO, Oracle, SQL) and possible issues with regard to data & IT transformation projects that could adversely affect the desired capabilities.

Data Sourcing:

  • Connect, extract, and manipulate data from multiple sources, including SAP HR, SAP BW, Oracle, and SQL-based databases.

  • Utilize MS Access and VBA coding for advanced data management and integration tasks.

  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and relevance across all dashboards.

  • Perform rigorous testing and validation of the data model and the visualizations to meet high performance and usability standards.

Business Requirement Gathering:

  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to collect business requirements and translate them into actionable data visualization solutions.

Dashboard Design and Development:

  • Create interactive and user-friendly dashboards in Power BI to present HR data effectively. Utilize DAX language to develop calculated measures and custom visualizations.

Collaboration and Knowledge Sharing:

  • Close on-the-job collaboration with the team of HR Analytics, Data, IT, and business teams to align dashboard functionalities with organizational goals. Provide training and operational help and support to the team of HR Analytics to maximize in-house knowledge and adoption.

Ideal Profile

  • Language requirements: Dutch - Business knowledge; French - Business knowledge; English - Business knowledge

  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field.

  • Certification: Certifications in Power BI, SAP, SAS EG, or related technologies are a plus

Required experience / knowledge  

  • 5 years

Technical experience             

Mandatory      

  • SAP BW, SAP BO, Power BI, SAS EG, DAX, VBA

Preferable        

  • SAP 4HANA, Oracle, SQL, Python

Business experience                 

Mandatory      

  • Prior experience in banking and data analysis

Preferable       

  • Prior experience in HR data environment

  • Familiarity with HR metrics and their relevance to business operations.

Soft skills          

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
