The IT Architect ensures the coherence and sustainability of the overall IT solutions and systems:
According to the enterprise strategy and with regard to technology evolution considering internal and external constraints (risk, cost, delay, …) in line with architectural practices, rules and principles of the Group. Responsible for the definition of the architectural features, products and sub-products in his/her domain of responsibility, and ensuring the implementation.
Responsible for the design, documentation and changes in reference architectures within his/her domain of responsibility.
The scope of this specific mission is on our Data Hub Tribe, with two main sets of activities currently planned : cloud migration of the current applications, and elaboration of the architecture roadmap of a new data strategy (relying on a new architecture to-be-defined, enabling data products in self-service mode, metadata management, data lineage, data virtualization, cost effective interactions with operational data stores, etc)

Key activities
Participate in and advise on studies, projects and assets concerning the elaboration/evolution of their architecture (concerning internal development as well as package solutions), in line with the enterprise strategy.
Delivery of solution architecture documents for our cloud migration
Agile Context
Experience in Agile at Scale is desirable (architecture solutions combining an MVP mindset with long term perspectives; continuous interactions with product owners, scrum masters and development squads)
Ideal Profile
Language: Dutch or French + knowledge of English and active knowledge of at least one local language + passive knowledge of the other language
Education: Solid IT background
Required experience / knowledge
At least 10 years of relevant experience
Technical experience
Mandatory
Knowledge of functional/technical/application architecture and architectural urbanization rules.
Experience with architectural modelling.
Analysis and definition of application architectures.
Preferable
Cloud experience
Experience in the migration of applications (e.g. from one data center to another)
Ideally, experience in data mesh, data products, data virtualization - yet concrete experience in functional and technical architecture is more relevant to this mission
