As the Functional Analyst within a Data Integration team your main responsibilities will include:
Analysis and challenge of business requirements
Translating the business requirements into a detailed functional design. The design should meet the business needs and comply with the existing architecture and standards.
Implementation of business requirements
Testing/validating of the implementations
Working on documentation and hand-over of the delivered solution
Delivering reports using standardised measurement and reporting tools
Ideal Profile
You have minimum 5 years of working experience as a (functional) analyst.
You have to analyse complex business processes and software systems, identify problems, and propose solutions. This requires an ability to break down complex problems into smaller components, to identify patterns and trends, and to use data to support your conclusions.
You have strong problem-solving skills, including the ability to think creatively and to come up with innovative solutions and to identify potential risks and trade-offs.
You are meticulous in your work and you have a process for reviewing and checking your work to ensure accuracy.
You have SQL knowledge with ability to navigate in an extended and complex data model
You have great communication skills and you are a real team player
You are fluent in English, both written and spoken
You are familiar with finance reporting such as FINREP and SRB
