The company uses the sopra banking platform for core banking activities. This software package runs on the servers and is supported by a team of ops engineers. They are responsible for the smooth running of the processes, solving incidents and any workarounds pending a permanent solution.
The functional analyst (with technical knowledge) should be the bridge between the functional needs of the organization, sopra as a third party and the team of ops engineers.
Responsibilities
In-depth knowledge of issues: identify, analyze and solve complex technical and functional problems within the sopra banking platform.
Build domain knowledge: become expert in core banking platform and share knowledge with the team and the customer
Increase quality: make a proactive contribution to improve processes and systems
Provide support: collaborate with technical specialists to ensure operational stability and implement improvements
Communication: maintain close contact with internal stakehoulders and external suppliers like sopra to ensure optimal collaboration.
Ideal Profile
Functional knowledge combined with technical skills and strong drive to learn
Experience with functional analysis within an IT environment (preferably banking or finance)
Experience in banking and financial software, preferably sopra banking platform
Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
Knowledge of: UML, Enterprise Architecture, Jira, SoapUI, Postman, API, REDT, JSON, SOAP, XML, SLQL, AKS, OAUt2, ...
