The Functional Analyst supports multiple development teams in determining how Jira and Confluence should be optimally configured.
You translate needs and requirements and act as the point of contact toward an external Atlassian partner responsible for the technical implementation and configuration.
After delivery, you guide validation and testing to ensure the solution aligns with the teams’ expectations.
Responsibilities
Analyzing the operations and needs of various development teams
Preparing a functional requirements analysis for Jira and Confluence
Advising on:
Project structure
Workflows
Roles and permissions
Use of Confluence spaces and templates
Coordinating with the Atlassian implementation partner
Following up, testing, and validating the configuration
Acting as a bridge between business, development, and the external partner
Ideal Profile
To successfully carry out this assignment, we expect at least:
Proven experience as a Functional Analyst (minimum 3–4 years)
Practical experience with Jira and Confluence (usage, structure, workflows, reporting)
Experience in requirements analysis within a software or development environment
Ability to translate the needs of multiple teams into clear functional requirements
Strong communication skills and experience in stakeholder management
Structured and analytical working style
Nice to Have
Experience working with multiple development teams or in Agile/Scrum environments
Experience collaborating with external implementation partners
Knowledge of Jira Service Management or ITSM is a plus
