For the Customer Team, we are looking for an experienced IT Functional Analyst to play a key role in further developing our AML and KYC capabilities.

The team already includes Business Analysts who map business needs, processes and AML/KYC requirements. What is currently missing is a strong functional link between business and IT.

The focus of this role is therefore not on business analysis or compliance, but on translating business requirements into practical IT solutions. Salesforce plays an important role in the application landscape, which includes several integrations with underlying systems.

You should be comfortable working with business stakeholders, architects, developers and external suppliers. You will need enough technical depth to provide meaningful input on the solution, without being expected to work as a developer.

Your challenge

As an IT Domain/Functional Analyst within the Customer Team, you will translate AML and KYC requirements into feasible IT solutions.

You will work closely with Business Analysts, Product Owners, Salesforce specialists, developers, architects and external suppliers. You will ensure that business needs are accurately translated into functional analyses, user stories, acceptance criteria and solution approaches that can be implemented technically.

You will understand the impact of changes across the application landscape and guide the various IT teams as they deliver the agreed solution.

In addition to your analytical skills, you will have the maturity to challenge both business and IT constructively, and to guide external partners when they are responsible for delivery.

Tasks

• Act as the link between Business Analysts and IT teams.
• Translate AML and KYC requirements into functional IT solutions.
• Prepare functional analyses, user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Define end-to-end solution flows across multiple applications.
• Work with Salesforce and integration teams.
• Assess the functional impact of changes on existing systems.
• Discuss integrations, interfaces and data flows with backend teams.
• Ensure functional consistency across the solution.
• Challenge business and IT decisions where appropriate.
• Coordinate with external suppliers and delivery partners.
• Support testing activities and validation.

Requirements

Functional and IT analysis

• Several years of experience as an IT Functional Analyst.
• Strong experience translating business requirements into IT solutions.
• Experience with complex system landscapes.
• Strong impact analysis skills.
• Experience with end-to-end solution design.
• Experience writing user stories and acceptance criteria.

Technical knowledge

• Familiarity with Salesforce.
• Knowledge of integrations.
• Understanding of APIs and services.
• Understanding of data flows between systems.
• Basic SQL knowledge.

Domain knowledge

• Knowledge of KYC.
• Experience with customer data and customer processes.
• Experience in the financial sector is a strong plus.
