Provision and maintenance of all infrastructure services (private cloud, public cloud, database, middleware, digital workplace) that are necessary to make the IT applications (customers, branches, HQ) available in a fast and qualitative manner, and in line with the expected functional and non-functional requirements, in order to always have a service-based, fit-for-purpose infrastructure landscape.
Policy
Provide proactive input regarding strategic objectives at executive level and translate the agreed strategic objectives into tactical guidelines and objectives at departmental level in order to achieve the tactical objectives of the department within the framework of executive objectives and core goals.

Attract, motivate, coach, value, and develop a team, using the O&T resources and within the company framework (mission, vision, strategy, values, leadership model) with an appropriate leadership style and through leading by example in order to:
a) create an environment in which all employees have the necessary resources and information, are engaged, and collaborate in a results- and customer-driven way as a team,
b) maximize the development of knowledge and skills within the organization,
c) achieve optimal performance and objectives,
d) establish an efficient, effective, professional, and motivating work climate.
Change Management
Proactively monitor, provide input on, and implement changes at departmental level in order to ensure the transition from the current to the desired situation is achieved and anchored efficiently and effectively, create buy-in, and optimize collaboration.
Process Improvement
Proactively provide input and actively propose suggestions to improve existing methods, systems, and procedures with attention to the end-to-end processes within the CIO organization, based on pain points and recurring issues, in order to continuously and creatively improve existing (work)methods, systems, and procedures through out-of-the-box thinking and ensure efficient and effective operations of the department.
Organizational Management
Implement a performant and agile organization for the own department/team based on the guidelines within the executive framework in order to optimally organize departmental activities and execute them in a customer-driven way.
Budget Management
Under the supervision of the director, monitor and, where necessary, adjust the departmental budget or assigned budget in line with operational objectives in order to optimally deploy people and resources.
Knowledge Management
Share knowledge with colleagues and other departments regarding the own area of expertise and train (less experienced) colleagues in order to make employees optimally deployable and enable them to achieve departmental objectives, while making expertise available within the organization.
Relationship Management/Networking
Generate close cross-functional collaboration with internal stakeholders and maintain good relationships with external stakeholders in order to achieve optimal interaction between all parties involved.
Reporting
Proactively establish and provide clear and substantiated reporting on various relevant data and information within the own domain based on the agreed guidelines, in order to supply the organization with timely and transparent quality information to support sound decision-making.
Risk Management
Proactively and continuously ensure awareness of the daily risks inherent to the products, activities, processes, and systems one works with, and timely and accurately identify and report the risks encountered in the exercise of the function.
Requirements
Master’s degree level or equivalent through experience
5 to 7 years of relevant managerial experience within IT
5 to 7 years of relevant experience in managing and implementing complex IT infrastructure environments
