IT Support Operations Specialist

We are looking for a reliable and hands-on IT Support Specialist to strengthen our back-office operations. This role focuses on supporting Windows laptops, user devices, and the broader Azure-based IT office environment. You will ensure smooth daily operations, deliver excellent internal customer service, and maintain a stable, secure infrastructure.

The ideal candidate has strong troubleshooting skills, understands Windows and Microsoft 365 environments, and is eager to work with Azure-based identity, security, and device management solutions.

Responsibilities

End-User Support (Windows Devices)

  • Provide Level 1/2 support for Windows laptops, peripherals, and office IT equipment.

  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and connectivity issues.

  • Support installation, configuration, imaging, and updates of Windows devices.

  • Ensure endpoint compliance through updates, antivirus, and security baselines.

Azure & Microsoft 365 Support

  • Perform day-to-day user administration tasks in Azure AD / Entra ID (account creation, access rights, group assignments).

  • Support Microsoft 365 services such as Teams, Exchange, SharePoint, and OneDrive.

  • Assist with device management through Intune (policies, enrolment, compliance checks).

  • Monitor and resolve issues related to cloud-based office services.

Back Office IT Operations

  • Handle service requests, incidents, and workflow activities in the ITSM system.

  • Support onboarding and offboarding procedures (accounts, devices, access provisioning).

  • Maintain up-to-date documentation, asset tracking, and operational procedures.

  • Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure adherence to operational standards.

Security & Compliance

  • Support MFA, conditional access, and identity security features.

  • Apply and enforce device protection standards (BitLocker, Defender, patching).

  • Help prepare information for audits and compliance checks.

  • Ensure adherence to company security policies in daily operations.

Infrastructure Support (Basic Level)

  • Assist with network troubleshooting (Wi-Fi, VPN, basic connectivity).

  • Support the maintenance of shared devices such as meeting room equipment and printers.

  • Escalate complex issues to senior IT or cloud engineering teams when necessary.

Ideal Profile

Must have

  • Experience in IT support, helpdesk, or similar role.

  • Good knowledge of Windows 11 installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.

  • Familiarity with Azure AD / Entra ID and Microsoft 365 administration.

  • Good technical understanding of Azure systems and technologies.

  • Understanding of endpoint protection, patching, and device compliance standards.

  • Ability to explain technical issues clearly to non-technical users.

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

Nice to have

  • Experience with Intune for device management.

  • Experience with Atlassian (Jira, Confluence, Service Desk)

  • Basic PowerShell knowledge for administrative tasks.

  • Familiarity with ITIL or structured support processes.

  • Certifications such as AZ-900, MD-100, or MS-900 (or willingness to obtain).
