Responsibilities
Prepare the test plan
Review the business requirements and draft the test plan based on them. Request clarification from the BA where needed.
Develop test scenarios
Write detailed test scenarios based on the test plan and the business requirements.
Prepare test data
In some cases, test data will need to be created. When test environments are refreshed, ensure these refreshes are coordinated so that consistent test data is available across all systems.
Execute test scenarios
Perform functional tests (including regression testing) that are currently part of the BA responsibilities. E2E testing will, for the time being, remain with the BA.
Follow up on defects
Log identified defects and track their resolution.
Ideal Profile
You hold a master’s degree in a technical or economic field, or equivalent through experience.
You have at least 5 years of relevant experience in preparing and executing functional and E2E tests. Proven experience in writing test plans and test scenarios is essential.
You have several years of experience as a test coordinator within a complex project structure.
You have experience interpreting process flows and class diagrams and are familiar with BPMN and UML.
Experience with Jira and Enterprise Architect (EA) is a plus.
Experience in the electricity sector is an asset.
Experience with industrial asset maintenance is a plus.
A good command of English is required (reading, writing). Excellent knowledge of Dutch or French is required (speaking, reading, writing), and you must be able to understand the second national language.
