REPONSIBILITES

• Develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Java and related technologies.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices.
• Implement unit tests and participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and stability.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues in existing backend systems.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies relevant to backend development.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and methodologies.
• Create and hold to quality training documentation and encourage a culture of knowledge sharing.

REQUIREMENTS

Technical knowledge

• Java programming, J2EE
• Experience with containerisation (Kubernetes, Docker)
• Knowledge of Oracle database (Exadata, SQL, PL/SQL)
• Understanding of Agile development methodologies
• Version control using tools like Git
• Atlassian stack Jira, Confluence
• Functional analysis (nice-to-have)
• Data modelling (nice-to-have)
• Knowledge of cloud technologies (nice-to-have)

Experience

• Minimum 1-3 years of experience as Java backend developer
• Familiarity with backend development frameworks such as Spring Boot, Hibernate
• Understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or related field
