Responsibilities

• Handling backend development (Java 21, Spring Boot).
• Following the in-house coding standards for backend development focussing on security, quality and maintainability.
• Investigating and solving technical back-end questions.
• Support the technical architecture of "to develop" features.
• Highlighting pitfalls and advantage of different technical solutions for the “to develop” features.
• Contributing to global and detail estimations for the “to develop” features.
• Understanding the functional analysis and/or stepping in when functional analysis is not completely clear before developing.

Ideal profile

• You have a bachelor’s or master’s degree combined with relevant experience as a senior developer.
• You have a broad experience in Java, Spring Boot and Hibernate.
• You are familiar with integration and/or end to end testing.
• You have experience in MSSQL databases.
• You are fluent in English, knowledge of Dutch is a plus.
• You are used to working in an Agile environment(scrum).
• You have strong communication skills and are successful in building good relations.
• You are proactive, adaptive and think in terms of solutions instead of problems.
• You work in an organized and structured way.
• Knowledge of DevOps and/or REACT is a plus.
