The team works with a DevOps mindset. That means you’ll be creating new features while also keeping tabs on the running applications. Occasional bugfixes and interaction with users are part of the job. While you quickly fix any bugs that occur, you keep our (internal) users updated through Yammer.
Assignments are tackled through the Agile methodology (and supported by Jira). Software is delivered in short iterations (sprints), allowing us to react quickly to new developments.
We build high quality software. No feature is “done” until there’s test cases for it and it is properly documented.

This department is a Shared Service at Group level fulfilling its mission to the benefit of all central and local entities of the group for the domains Treasury, Risk, Credit Risk, Finance, Compliance and Legal

To provide efficient data management and end-to-end reporting services.
To act as a competence center for data quality and operational excellence in company management.

This is an innovative team within one of the agile release trains (ART SoLAR). They creates and maintains applications using the newest technologies supported. We work on data quality related tools - like Job Monitoring Tool (JoMoTo), Incident Reporting Management Application (IRMA), Data Quality Bot (DQbot), Data Management System (DMS) - and support our stakeholders in their (internal and regulatory) reporting with our groupwide applications like Probability of Default for Banks (PDB), Loan Tape generator, Corporate Sustainability Reporting API's,...

Tasks

  • Developing applications on our internal Cloud Application Platform.

  • You’ll be working with technologies like Java & Spring Framework, dockers on OpenShift (= Kubernetes by Red Hat), a fully automated build & deploy pipeline, git, continuous releasing, Kibana for log analysis, Prometheus for automated alert management... And you’ll be working with a cloud-native development mindset.

  • We also build the front-end for our applications using the Angular framework.
     

Ideal Profile

  • Very good Java experience

  • Good experience with Spring Boot framework

  • Knowledge of Hibernate

  • Very important: experience with Angular framework

  • A plus for: experience creating / using dockers and OpenShift

  • You are a self-driven, enterprising, dynamic professional.

  • You take initiative and responsibility.

  • You’re able to settle in quickly.

  • You have a flexible mindset and a hunger to learn.
