As a Software Engineer in our Daily Banking team, you play a key role in maintaining, developing, and testing Java backend services that are essential for our payment processing and that strongly integrate with external partners as well as internally developed applications. You are also actively involved in our ongoing modernization program, where we are migrating our application to a new cloud environment (Azure Kubernetes Service) using Terraform.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Architect and Functional Analyst to design a robust solution that fits within the existing landscape

• Integrate with external systems such as Sopra and Worldline to ensure seamless transaction processing

• Work within an Agile/Scrum team following the SAFe framework

• Ensure quality by actively testing delivered code

• Continuously improve the codebase and processes through code reviews, automation, and implementation of best practices

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field

• At least 3 years of experience with Java and the Spring Framework

• Experience working in cloud environments, preferably Azure

• Knowledge of financial systems and integration platforms such as Sopra is a plus

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset
