As a DevOps Application Engineer, you take end-to-end responsibility for one or more applications within this domain. You combine technical expertise, ownership and collaboration to deliver stable, secure and future-ready solutions.

You work in a multidisciplinary DevOps team where business, analysis, development, testing and operations collaborate closely. You will have the opportunity to make an impact on applications used daily by thousands of customers and employees.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and improve applications within the Wealth & Entrepreneurship domain.

• Analyse functional requirements and translate them into sustainable technical solutions.

• Implement new features and deliver high-quality, performant and maintainable software.

• Automate processes wherever possible and contribute to CI/CD and DevOps practices.

• Ensure the stability, availability and security of the applications under your responsibility.

• Investigate incidents and production issues and develop lasting improvements.

• Actively contribute to sprint planning, refinement sessions and PI planning.

• Coordinate with business stakeholders, architects, analysts and fellow engineers.

• Contribute to the ongoing modernization of our application landscape and development practices.

• Document solutions and actively share knowledge within the team.

Your Background

• You hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in an IT-related field, or have equivalent experience.

• You have experience in software development and application management.

• You are familiar with Agile and DevOps ways of working.

• You have experience with version control, automation and CI/CD processes.

• Experience with cloud solutions, monitoring and security is a plus.

• You communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Knowledge of financial services, investing or wealth building is an advantage, but not a requirement.
