Resolve and prevent second line incidents.
Responsible for ensuring continuity of business and IT applications.
Work in team with operations administrators and engineers and technical experts.
Working with the business, development team and service manager to ensure quality service.
Involved in delivery of new features/projects (agile approach)
Take ownership of assigned applications within the Core Banking domain (savings and payments) to ensure continuity
Perform quality checks on production and non-production environments and even(t any new procedures or process activities
Analyze incidents and problems originating from business or automated alerts and perform necessary workarounds to resolve them. Perform monitoring and signaling function to ensure that incidents are resolved on the merits
Identify improvement actions to prevent future incidents, if possible.
In charge of communication, both internal and external, to make clear the resolution and impact of the incidents to affected parties.
Ideal Profile
Good knowledge Unix Shell scripting.
Thorough knowledge Oracle SQL
Java knowledge to be able to perform impact analysis for incidents and small developments
Knowledge of banking products and processes, payments and experience with SBP (Sopra Banking Platform)
Experience in agile (SAFe) working environment and DevOps
Strong affinity for technical-operational aspects
Perform scheduled interventions and on-call duties outside office hours in a rotating mechanism.
Hybrid role, not a full-time remote! Especially at startup, the consultant is expected to come onsite weekly.
