The responsibilities include daily operational management, service requests and support.  The role also includes projects for new applications, lifecycle refreshes and platform migrations.

Understanding + proven experience of following domains is a must in an Enterprise environment > 500users:

• Installation, configuration, support and monitoring of the Oracle databases

• Implementation of changes required for our internal customers

• Incident management for the oracle database domain, ensuring timely resolution of incidents.

• Problem management and vendor follow-up

• System management for all operating environments: Oracle and Red Hat Enterprise Linux, both on physical and virtualized deployments.

• Preparation and implementation of backups and recovery procedures

Ideal Profile

Mandatory

• Must have proven experience with Oracle Database Enterprise Edition (12c / 19c), with demonstrable expertise in large corporate deployments (multi-tenancy, partitioning…).

• Must have a solid understanding of Standard Edition.

• On the technology front, a solid understanding of below is required

• Oracle Data Guard

• Oracle Enterprise Manager

• Red Hat and/or Oracle Enterprise Linux

• Shell scripting

• Bachelor level or better in computer science, information systems or related engineering field

• A proactive team player with excellent communication skills

• Driver license + car

• Languages: C2-level Dutch or French, C2 English, understanding and speaking German is a definite plus

• Must be accountable, no 9 to 5 worker

• CI/CD technologies : Ansible, Git, Gitlab

• NetApp storage management (L1-2)
