As a Platform Engineer, you will be designing, deploying, and managing infrastructure and applications on the internal development platform. You'll be responsible for building, managing and maintaining a cloud-based platform that meets the needs of the stakeholders to host their solutions.

Main responsibilities

• Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration of the applications within the internal development platform following DevOps principles and processes.
• Design, implement and maintain the internal development platform based on Azure services.
• Develop, implement and maintain automation and orchestration using tools and platforms like Terraform, GitHub Actions, Crossplane and Humanitec.
• Maintain and troubleshoot the internal developer portal based on Port.
• Monitor and optimize the performance, availability, and scalability of the platform applications.
• Implement and maintain security measures to protect data and resources.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the various platform components, resources and deployments.
• Keep up-to-date with the latest Azure features, services and best practices.

Ideal Profile

• You are passionate about cloud concepts and have at least 4 years of professional experience in Azure. Having certification is a plus.
• You have at least 4 years of proven experience with managing and maintaining Kubernetes environments. Having certification is a plus.
• You are experienced in software development lifecycles and deployment pipelines.
• You have experience with scripting and automation tools.
• You have experience with building infrastructure as code and managing configuration via code.
• You have an affinity with software development. Familiarity with Java Spring stack is a plus.
• You have strong communicative skills, verbal as well as written.

• You are willing to continuously learn and improve your skills.
