As a Scrum Master, you will play a key role in enabling our engineering teams to deliver high-quality, secure, and scalable features across our SaaS platform. You will guide one or more cross-functional teams—consisting of software engineers, QA devops, designers, and product owners/managers—in applying agile principles effectively.

You remove impediments, foster collaboration, and help teams embrace continuous improvement while working with modern engineering practices and cloud-native technologies such as React, .NET, SQL, Docker, and Kubernetes. This is a collaborative role at the intersection of agile delivery, product development, and modern software engineering.

Responsibilities

Scrum & Agile Facilitation

One of your main responsibilities is to facilitate coordination between the team members, e.g.:

• To translate feature requests in executable tasks for the product team.

• To prepare a release

• To address bugs

• To address unexpected delays

Make sure that the product board(s) always reflect the current state of affairs

Lead all Scrum ceremonies: sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, sprint demo,

backlog refinement and retrospectives.

Ensure agile best practices are applied consistently across engineering teams.

Promote transparency, inspection, and adaptation within the team’s workflow.

Team Coaching & Performance

• Support teams in becoming self-organizing, high-performing, and accountable.

• Coach engineers and product roles in agile mindsets, lean thinking, and iterative delivery.

• Encourage continuous learning, experimentation, and innovation.

Collaboration & Delivery Excellence

• Remove blockers to ensure smooth, predictable delivery.

• Work closely with Product Owners, product managers and the product boad to maintain a healthy and well-prioritized backlog.

• Align with engineering leadership to uphold high standards for code quality, architecture, DevOps, and security.

Process Optimization in a Software Engineering Context

• Champion efficient engineering workflows (GitHub, CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes deployments).

• Facilitate cross-team collaboration for larger epics and technical initiatives.

• Use data-driven insights (velocity, cycle time, throughput, DORA metrics) to improve delivery performance.

Stakeholder Communication

• Ensure clarity and transparency with product stakeholders and leadership.

• Help synchronize inter-team dependencies, releases, and roadmap milestones.

• Build strong relationships across teams, enabling constructive collaboration.

Ideal Profiile

Must-Haves

• +5 years of experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach in an enterpriseSaaS company

• Experience in working with(in) a multi-disciplinary, hybrid software team

• Strong understanding of agile frameworks (Scrum) and product development processes.

• Experience working closely with software engineering teams building cloud-native products.

• Strong communication, facilitation, and conflict-resolution skills.

• Ability to think critically, proactively solve problems, and remove delivery obstacles.

• Fluent in English, written and spoken Dutch is a plus

• Ready to join our Antwerp office for at least 2 days a week

Nice-to-Haves

• Frontend: TypeScript/JavaScript (React)

• Backend: .NET, Python, and/or scala

• Data: Microsoft SQL, PostgreSQL, Elastic search

• DevOps: Docker, Kubernetes, (Jenkins) CICD
