As a Senior Security Engineer, you will play a critical role. You will design, operate, and continuously improve network security solutions in a highly available production environment, applying strict no‑downtime principles.

Tasks

• Operate and maintain Checkpoint, Checkpoint Maestro Hyperscale, and Palo Alto firewalls in line with no‑downtime principles

• Manage and execute projects aimed at improving network security

• Troubleshoot and resolve firewall issues in a live production environment

• Build and maintain a firewall lab / test environment comparable to production setups

• Resolve incidents involving adjacent network devices

• Design and implement new security principles to protect from external threats

Ideal Profile

• 5+ years of experience in network security

• Extensive knowledge of routing protocols, with strong expertise in OSPF

• Extensive hands‑on experience with Checkpoint and Palo Alto firewalls

• Strong knowledge of Layer 2 / Layer 3 networking

• CCSA certification (or equivalent)

• CCSE certification (or equivalent)

• CCSM certification is a plus

• CCME certification is a plus

• Experience working with Linux and Windows servers in a networked environment

• Proven experience in maintaining and debugging network equipment

• Experience with Checkpoint R81.x / R82.x

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
