The Solution Architecture team, part of the Architecture division, is responsible for developing solution architectures based on the established architectural guidance. Each solution architect reports to the Manager of Solution Architecture but works with delegated responsibility within a specific domain of focus. Solution architects also work closely with enterprise architects and fellow solution architects to design coherent and effective solutions.

You will collaborate closely with the Shared Service Integration (SSI) team to further develop and apply integration platforms (API management, MQ, MFT, iPaaS, BPA, job scheduling) within solution architectures.

Responsibilities

Collaboration & Alignment

• Align priorities between the architecture team and SSI, in accordance with agreed commitments.

• Actively participate in daily scrums, PI planning, demos, and sync meetings of the SSI team. 

• Contribute to team meetings and communities of practice related to (solution) architecture.

Architecture & Guidance

• Develop solution architectures for integration platforms, and contribute to solution architectures that leverage these platforms. 

• Define functional and non-functional requirements for integration platforms and their application within solution architectures.

• Contribute to the creation of architectural guidance (guardrails and patterns) to ensure the correct use of integration platforms.

Governance & Coaching

• Take an active role in validating solution architectures through the Architecture Governance Board (AGB).

• Coach SSI team members in the setup and expansion of integration platforms.

• Support solution architects in the proper use of integration platforms within new solution architectures, in line with architectural guidance.

Ideal Profile

• At least 8 years of relevant professional experience. 

• Proven track record in a similar role.

• Strong analytical skills combined with broad technological knowledge.

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with management, IT teams, and business teams.

• Experience with ArchiMate.

• Experience in the financial sector.

• Hands-on expertise with enterprise-grade integration platforms (API management, API gateway, API security, MQ, MFT, iPaaS, BPA, job scheduling).

• Experience with hybrid cloud infrastructures, where integration platforms are deployed both on-premise and in the cloud (Azure).
