Tasks

• You will ensure continuity in the IT landscape by managing, monitoring and following up various platforms.

• You take ownership of the infrastructure side of the IT projects. You take care of the preparation of a correct design and implementation, both for the hardware and software aspects.

• You provide visibility and create insights into the use of the IT infrastructure.

• You take proactive action to identify and eliminate system issues in order to guarantee the quality of the environment.

• You work closely with other colleagues in the IT department or external partners.

• You plan for continuity and evolution of the environment in the longer term.

• You provide a recognizable approach that can be used in new initiatives.

• You have a strong focus on security aspects.

• You monitor market developments and translate them into impact or added value for the organization.

• You maintain knowledge and provide documentation to support both IT and the business.

Ideal Profile

• You can present several years of relevant experience in the role of System Engineer.

• You have a broad interest in managing a technology landscape and can experience in different domains such as: servers, networks, endpoints, virtualization, security, backup, monitoring, telecom, cloud environments, identity management, etc.

• You ensure scalability and automation of management activities.

• You are flexible in your approach and you are able to make independent decisions and vision communicated to others.

• You take assignments to heart and ensure that they are realized as agreed.

• You collaborate with other areas of expertise to realize the assignment.

• You can present some knowledge of relevant business applications and are sufficiently technically substantiated.
